I tested the fix with a folder that has 100.000 files in it, and it seems to work quite well. Next step is to go back and dig up some old FTP code using another way of utilizing System.Net and see if it produces the same error.

Broken pipe TCC: FTP protocol error: 451 Transfer aborted. Note that registered members see fewer ads, and ContentLink is completely disabled once you log in. The reason was that the FTP directory contained an unusual amount of files (about 2000). You signed out in another tab or window.
Our application wants to list the FTP directory, however at maximum 10 files. It does it on differently on two client computers, and it happens with using two different servers. Oh, and increasing the archive file size for the initial storage has helped considerably as well. On the other side wie have our DirectoryListCallback-implementation which is called by edtFTPj and deals with processing directory results.
