It had this lens error and I noticed the whole lens was crooked. Not that any of the others DON'T anyway. I took 3 goes. The repair center in Minnesota reported that it would take at least 6 weeks to repair the camera because repair parts were out of stock because of so many E550 deeloping Thanks for this resource. HelloThe problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. internet

I fixed the initial problem and broke the camera for good all in one step.... I loosen the screw at the bottom of the lense and let the vacuum do more cleaning for about 10 minutes. I finally fixed it by holding the "OK" button and turning the camera on. we've had it looked at but the camera ppl said it will cost more to fix it than it would be to buy a new camera.

Remove the memory card and keep it removed, then install the new batteries. I took out my old fuji after reading this post, beat it, and it works. Then retracts, there's a partial shutter closure. Check This Out I think it's screwed! :( Thank you anyways for the helps!

I have a Canon PowerShot A560 and I dropped it while I was taking a picture and it turned off. Thanks [emailprotected] Ewagner 28's solution above worked for me as well! This time the lense is stuck INSIDE and there is no way of me getting inside and pulling it out without damaging the camera. Thanks so much for this blog!
