I deleted my previous Win XP installation on the 4GB SSD and created on it the / (root) partition for Ubunutu. I got it to boot by changing "root(hd2,0)" to "root(hd0,0)" but when I updated Grub, after changing it doing the above changes to menu.lst, I was given a list of updates.
