So far, I've tried zooming it in and out about 50 times in a row, with no problems. It seems that many of the Fuji cameras suffer from this zoom error problem so maybe a change of brand is in order. So after changing the batteries, removing the memory card, tapping the usb cover, and finally forcing the lens (repeatedly) with minimal success, my co-worker decided to hold the camera flat, lens the cylinder with the smaller diameter wouldn't completely retract and the picture was blurry. I tried removing the battery, that did not work. Check This Out My three-month old Canon Powershot SX100IS had this error.
